Fairness charter
Hungry As is a listing and booking service. The food contract is with the restaurant. The delivery contract is with the driver.
- Commission on a delivery or pickup order is a flat 10% of food. Drivers are invoiced the same percentage on the delivery fee.
- There is no commission, fee or margin on tips or on charity donations, including round-ups, matches and pledges.
- Menu prices are the food price at checkout. The delivery fee is shown before you pay. There is no card surcharge.
- Restaurants are not ranked because they paid, except a labelled sponsored listing the restaurant bought for a suburb.
- Customers, restaurants and drivers can appeal a decision. A dispute goes direct, then to Hungry As mediation, then to a written admin decision, then to an appeal.
- You can download your own data and ask for your account to be deleted. Orders and invoices are kept where the tax law requires it.
- A friends-only review waits 48 hours so the restaurant can respond. It is not hidden if that is unresolved.
