Hungry As

Terms

Hungry As connects you with restaurants and independent drivers. The food contract is with the restaurant. The delivery contract is with the driver. Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.

How payments work, who receives them, and the other amounts Hungry As receives are in the Marketplace & payments statement.

After delivery you can open a complaint from the order. If you and the restaurant or driver do not agree, Hungry As support takes the case, and you can still contact your fair trading body or your card issuer.

Anyone can complain about a review, a photo, a profile picture or a comment, including a restaurant or a person named in it who cannot see the post. Hungry As hides that content as soon as the complaint is received, before anyone assesses it. The person who posted it can respond, edit or delete it. It is shown again only when both sides agree, or when an admin restores it and records the reasons. If the poster does not respond, it stays hidden. Contact details are not shared unless both people opt in. Hungry As does not check reviews in advance and does not warrant that a review, a photo or a comment is true. The steps are on the help page and the complaint form.

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, without taking away a mandatory right in the state where you live or where the food was supplied. Consumer guarantees are not excluded. General information, not legal advice.

Longer drafts, each with the same lawyer-review rule as the payments statement: customer terms, restaurant terms, driver terms, and the privacy policy.
